Workshop Overview
This hands-on workshop is designed for death doulas who wish to deepen their practice by learning how to create and facilitate anointing rituals for the dying and the dead. Participants will explore the significance, emotional impact, and practical steps involved in conducting these sacred rituals.

Workshop Objectives
Understand the purpose and significance of anointing rituals.
Learn the steps to create personalized anointing rituals for individuals at the end of life.
Gain practical experience in performing anointing rituals.
Explore the use of oils, herbs, and other materials in the ritual process.
Discuss the emotional and spiritual support provided to the dying and their families.
Materials Needed
Notebooks for reflection and notes
Shallow ritual bowl (think tea rest size)
OPTIONAL
Essential oils and carrier oils, if you have favorites on-hand; with droppers
Herbs, spices (finely ground or liquid)

This workshop is ideal for death doulas, and anyone involved in end-of-life care who wishes to enhance their understanding and practice of anointing rituals.
